Babyface & Nose Thread Lift

Restore your facial contours by lifting and tightening your skin with this minimally-invasive, non-surgical anti-aging procedure.

What is a Thread Lift?

A Thread Lift is a minimally-invasive alternative to facelift surgery.

Medical-grade threads thinner than the width of a hair are gently inserted into parts of your face to tighten, lift, and contour your skin. The threads are made of PDO (Polydioxanone), which is a medical suture made of protein.

PDO is safe for the body, and after the procedure, it dissolves gradually over 2 to 3 months.

The threading sets up a “scaffolding” for the skin that creates a conducive internal environment for skin-rejuvenating proteins such as collagen, elastin, and others.

Thread Lifts are commonly used to restore shapely and youthful-looking cheeks, brows, necks, and noses.

As Asians, we tend to have lower and shorter noses.

The ideal that many strive for has an idea front angle of 115 to 140 degrees (picture 1) and a nasolabial angle of 95 to 105 degrees (picture 3).

Examples of the ideal nose angle that our customers often request include the Duchess of Cambridge (pictured above, left) and Song Hye Gyo (pictured above, right).

Note that “ideal” nose shapes and angles may not be suitable for every face.

Most of our customers just want a natural-looking enhancement of lengthening the nose tip and raising the nose bridge.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can get it done on your brows, nose, neck, or cheek.

Thread Lifts are low-risk procedures with low downtime. Most people resume their normal activities within x days.

The only pain you will feel is from the local anesthesia injection, after which your nose will be numbed for the duration of the procedure.

There may be a few days of downtime due to slight bruising and swelling, but apart from that, it is a relatively pain-free and fuss-free treatment.

Results may last up to 9 months depending on the area being treated and the types of treatment done.

For example, some patients opt for dermal fillers in combination with a thread lift, which can prolong the desired treatment result.

A Nose Thread Lift is a common lunchtime procedure because it only takes 20 to 30 minutes and does not cause any major inconvenience.

Remember the PDO threads we talked about earlier? We insert the threads into the nose bridge and nose tip with extremely thin needles. Generally, we’ll only need 4 to 6 threads to lift your nose bridge and heighten your nose tip to achieve the ideal nose angle.

Nose Thread Lifts often provide highly satisfactory results for 6 to 8 months, around the time it takes for the threads to dissolve and be absorbed by the body.

In many cases, the results last slightly longer than that because of the strength of the new tissue that formed over the threads.

For ideal results, you want to have a doctor that is highly experienced and has good aesthetic sensibilities.
